PEGNL 2010-2011 Board of Directors

There are 12 members of the Board of Directors; nine elected members who are professional engineers or professional geoscientists, and three public representatives, appointed by the Minister of Government Services.

As a result of the recent election, the 2010-2011 Board members are:

New Board Members:

Jeff Card, P.Eng.

A graduate of Memorial with a B.Eng. [Electrical], Jeff is Senior Buildings Planner NL, Atlantic Mobility Construction Prime, with Bell Aliant. As a volunteer, he was: VP Finance, MUN Engineering Society “A”, and VP Sponsorship, VP Logistics, and VP Hospitality for the 2003 Canadian Engineering Competition held in St. John’s.

 

Dr. Ray Gosine, P.Eng.

A graduate of Memorial with a B.Eng. [Electrical], Ray received his Ph.D. in robotics at Cambridge University. He is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Memorial and also President [Research], Pro Tempore, and formerly Memorial’s Dean of Engineering and Applied Science. He also serves on PEGNL’s Board of Examiners.

 

Gordon J. Holden, P.Eng.

Gordon is a graduate of Memorial with a B.Eng. [Electrical]. He is currently Manager, Electrical Engineering with Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro [NLH], and has worked with NLH since 1981. Gordon also serves on the Board of Directors for the Qulliq Energy Corporation, the sole generator, transmitter and distributor of electrical energy in Nunavut.
