PEGNL's
"Green Spot" Official Launch
Regular visitors to the PEGNL website will have noticed for some time a curious green heading on the bottom of the right sidebar. "Green Spot" is the name of the part of the website dedicated to Environment Committee activities.
The Green Spot was started last spring and has been available to anyone visiting the site for about a year. It's been worked over a couple of times and continues to be developed as new ideas come in. It has now been officially launched.
How is it set up? What will you find there? Well, a simple click or two will show you but, briefly, here it is.
It's meant to let members and the public have a look at what the Environment Committee does. So you can find new and upcoming events; find links to environment websites and important environmental documents; and, see who received nominations and awards. You can also see who is on the Committee; Sub-committees and their mandates; read meeting minutes, and just about anything else that has an environment connection.
Mark Fewer maintains the Green Spot and Carissa Sparkes, P.Eng. (carissa.sparkes@hatchmott.com) heads the group that reviews its overall structure.
We welcome your suggestions for items to include or ways to improve it.
