Professional engineers and professional geoscientists often fail to promote themselves and acknowledge the efforts of their peers. As a result, opportunities are missed to credit deserving individuals for their efforts and, also, to recognize ourselves professionally. Through nomination for the PEGNL Awards, you can help recognize these individuals. PEGNL has seven awards:
Please take the time to read the following descriptions and forward the name of your nominee. The Environment Committee is seeking nominations for the Environment Award which recognizes the application of science, technology and engineering to human and resource environmental management in Newfoundland and Labrador. Its purpose is to emphasize the use of science, technology, and modern organization techniques by the professions and others to protect and enhance the environment. The Nomination Form is available by clicking here. If you are aware of any other awards relevant to our professions that are granted by other groups and organizations, please inform the PEGNL Awards Committee. Outside service groups and industry associations often award companies and individuals for various reasons. PEGNL would like to take a proactive approach in nominating its members for these awards. © Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador |
