March 2009

2nd Climate Change Technology Conference - May 12 - 15, 2009

The Conference theme: Climate Change ....... Deal with It! emphasizes the need to develop practical engineering and administrative responses to address the impacts of climate change and global warming.

In addition to technical paper presentations, a number of national/international experts have been invited to share their experience with conference delegates.

CCTC2009 will also offer a number of professional development workshops/short courses on subjects of interest to those who have to deal with technical, environmental or administrative issues related climate change.

The Exhibition/Trade Show, held in conjunction with the conference, will provide an opportunity for delegates to review new products, innovative techniques and available services to combat the impacts of climate change.

The social program will include an "Ice-Breaker" reception, an exhibitors' reception and a gala banquet.

CCTC 2009 is a Canadian/international forum for engineers, scientists, policy advisors, industry and other stakeholders to share new information and ideas for dealing with climate change and global warming. It also provides an opportunity for participants to keep abreast of emerging techniques and technologies for the mitigation of and adaptation to, the impacts of climate change.

The CCTC2009 is organized by the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) in partnership with nine of its member societies. Please visit www.cctc2009.ca for more information.
