International Produced Water Conference

St. John's, Newfoundland
October 17 - 18, 2007

The International Produced Water Conference will be held in St. John's Newfoundland from October 17-18, 2007.

Participants will include academia, government scientists and private contractors in the fields of biology, toxicology, geochemistry, organic chemistry, physical oceanography and environmental engineering.

The meeting will provide a forum for production of a state-of-the-art review of scientific knowledge on the environmental risk of ocean discharge of produced water and advances in mitigation technologies.
