President's Newsletter

The President's Newsletter includes external stakeholder engagement and the current status of mobility of our professions, both in Canada and internationally.  

Well, much has happened in this province since the last issue of Dialogue, most notably: 

  • The Hebron talks collapsed and Chevron announced plans to suspend Hebron activities 

  • The NL Government announced that the province, in partnership with Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, will lead the development of the Lower Churchill.

CCWESTT Conference to be held June 22 - 26

The 11th CCWESTT National Conference for the Advancement of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology will be held in Calgary, June 22-25, 2006. 

The conference provides a forum for participants to gain leadership skills, network with colleagues and celebrate women's achievements in science, engineering, trades and technology. The theme of this year's conference Producing Influential Leaders will inspire women in the science, trades and technology sectors, and they will receive advice from highly recognized and established industry and academic leaders.
